Angie Whitworth & Roddy Caravella
Angie Whitworth and Roddy Caravella have been dancing in the New York scene for about seven years, but started dancing professionally together about three and a half years ago. Trained by Paul Grecki and Savoy Ballroom Lindy Hopper, Frankie Manning, Angie and Roddy both teach at the Sandra Cameron Dance Center in New York City. They have also taught and performed throughout the U.S., Canada, Germany and Hong Kong. They are principle dancers in the show Swing Dance America and have performed live with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and they were also members of The Big Apple Lindy Hoppers dance troupe.
Competitions
Between the two of them, Angie and Roddy have competed (and placed) in competitions since 1995 such as The American Lindy Hop Championships, The American Swing Dance Championships, The Virginia State Open Swing Dance Championships and The North Atlantic Dance Championships.
Television, Film and Stage
Angie and Roddy can be seen as featured dancers in the touring company of Swing Dance America and have been seen on television shows such as Good Morning America, Good Day New York, Good Day Atlanta, Fox After Breakfast, AMC in Concert (with The Cherry Poppin' Daddies), Fox News Channel's Fox and Friends and The Today Show. They can also be seen swinging in the most recent commercial for Foxwoods Casino/Resort and The Magic of Christmas featuring Tony Bennett and Garth Brooks. Roddy and Angie can also be seen as featured dancers in the feature film Swing City.

Angie can be seen on the cover of the upcoming issue of Dance Teacher Magazine with the legendary Frankie Manning. Angie and Roddy were featured on the cover as well as the center fold out of the March 1999 issue of Smithsonian Magazine and the Life Magazine 1998 Year in Pictures. They are also featured on the November 1999 issue of Seventeen Magazine, teaching pop star Mya how to swing!
Fashion
You may ask what does fashion have to do with dancing? Well, Angie and Roddy have designed a swing dance costume for Simplicity Patterns, Retro Costume Collection. They also choreographed a Lindy Hop number in the Fall 2000 fashion show for designer Michele Savola.
